Cyan (AIM: CYAN.L), a fabless semiconductor company providing configurable
application software and production ready modules based on feature rich, low
power, microcontroller chips, was notified on 27 March 2008, that Mr John Peter
Lobbenberg's family trust had sold and his SIPP subsequently purchased
4,250,000 Ordinary shares. Following these transactions Mr Lobbenberg's direct
and indirect interest in the Company remains unchanged at 9,200,000 shares
representing approximately 6.59% of the issued share capital of the Company. Mr
M D Wood, the co-trustee of the family trust, no longer has a notifiable
interest.
Details of the shareholding and the basis of Mr Lobbenberg's interest in these
shares is set out below:
* Mr Lobbenberg is the registered owner of 500,000 shares (representing
0.358% of the total issued share capital).
* Roldvasian Ltd ('RV') is the registered owner of 1,800,000 shares in the
Company (representing 1.289% of the total issued share capital).
Roldvasian Ltd is owned 50% by Mr Lobbenberg and 50% by Mr Lobbenberg's
wife, Naomi Lobbenberg. Both of them are directors of Roldvasian Ltd.
* JPL Portfolio Management Ltd ('JPLPM') is the registered owner of 250,000
shares in the company (representing 0.180% of the total issued share
capital). JPL Portfolio Management Ltd is owned 90% by Mr Lobbenberg and 5%
by Naomi Lobbenberg.
* Mr Lobbenberg is the principal beneficiary of a self-invested pension plan
('SIPP') which, through its nominee Ferlim Nominees Ltd, is the beneficial
owner of 6,650,000 shares in the Company (representing 4.76% of the total
issued share capital). The trustees of the SIPP are Alliance Pension
Trustees Ltd.
