DCC plc Board Change

DCC plc, the business support services group, announces the appointment of Mr John Moloney as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from today.

John Moloney, B.Agr.Sc., MBA, (age 54) has been Group Managing Director of Glanbia plc since 2001 having been appointed to the board in September 1997.  He joined Glanbia in 1987 and held a number of senior management positions including chief executive of the Food Ingredients and Agricultural Trading divisions. Mr. Moloney previously worked with the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and in the meat industry in Ireland. He is a director of the Irish Dairy Board Co-operative Limited and a council member of the Irish Business and Employers Confederation. 

Apart from Mr. Moloney's directorship in Glanbia plc, a publicly quoted company, there are no further details to be disclosed under Listing Rule 6.6.7 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock Exchange and Listing Rule 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority.
