In conformity with Regulation 20 of the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC)
Regulations 2007, DCC plc announces that as of 31 January 2008:
DCC plc's total number of ordinary shares with voting rights is 80,579,808. The
total issued share capital is 88,229,404 ordinary shares of €0.25 each of which
7,649,596 are held as Treasury shares and therefore do not carry voting rights.
The figure of 80,579,808 should be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of DCC
plc under the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007 and the
Interim Transparency Rules.
