Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for block listings totalling 818,616 Ordinary shares to trade on the
London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List upon issuance.
This application relates to the Company's Share Consolidation and the admission
of the shares is expected to commence on 1 August 2005.



The Block listings consist of 332,449 shares to be issued under the De La Rue
Executive Share Option Scheme/Plan, 57,557 shares under the De La Rue Sharesave
Scheme, 164,086 shares under the De La Rue Matching Shares Scheme and 264,524
shares to be issued under the De La Rue US Employee Share Purchase Plan.
