De La Rue plc's Directors' Interests
De La Rue plc (the 'Company') was notified yesterday, 12 July 2006, that the De
La Rue Qualifying Employee Share Ownership (the 'Trust') on 12 July 2006
transferred 386 shares of 27 7/9p each in the Company pursuant to the exercise
of options under the De La Rue Sharesave Scheme. The number of De La Rue plc
shares now held by the Trust is 218,349, 0.133% of the issued share capital.
Following the above transaction Mr L M Quinn, Chief Executive and Mr S A King,
Group Finance Director, have an interest in the balance held by the Trust as
potential beneficiaries of the Trust although neither is participating in the
exercise of options referred to above.
