DE LA RUE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO LEAVE
After nearly three years as Group Finance Director of De La Rue, Paul
Hollingworth has decided to accept the job of Finance Director of BPB plc. He
will continue in his role until the end of June 2002 when he will resign as a
director. De La Rue will immediately begin recruiting his successor.
Mr Hollingworth, 42, was appointed on 1 August 1999 having previously been Group
Finance Director of English China Clays, VP Finance of Textron Turf Care &
Speciality Products and Group Finance Director of Ransomes.
Commenting on Mr Hollingworth's decision, Ian Much, Chief Executive, said: 'I am
sorry to see Paul leave as he has greatly contributed to De La Rue's turnaround
and to establishing good communications with our investors and the City. His
commercial and financial skills have been much valued. Over the next few months
as we seek his successor, Paul will continue to work closely with the Board and
we wish him every success in the future.'
