Directors' Shareholdings

Deltex Medical Group plc ('Deltex Medical' or the 'Company'), the global leader in oesophageal Doppler monitoring ('ODM'), announces that it has today issued a total of 370,002 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('New Ordinary Shares') to certain non-executive directors of the Company at a price of 12.75 pence per share.

In addition to the above, the Company also announces that it has today issued a total of 290,980 New Ordinary  Shares to certain advisors of the Company at an average price of 12.27 pence per share.

The four non-executive directors named below have elected to take shares in lieu of a cash payment as remuneration for their services to the Company. In addition, three of the Company's independent advisors have elected to take shares in lieu of cash payment for their services to the Company.

Accordingly, application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on 14 May 2009. Following the issue of these new shares the Company has a total of 101,020,611 ordinary shares of 1p each in issue.
