Section 198 Notification
The Company was notified on 16th December 2004 pursuant to section 198 of the
Companies Act 1985 ('Act') of the following interests in the Company's ordinary
shares ('Shares'):
• By Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Ltd (a subsidiary of Lloyds
TSB Group plc) that it had on 14th December 2004 an existing interest pursuant
to s.198 of the Act in 4,110,642 of the Company's Shares representing 5.14% of
the issued share capital of the Company.
• By Lincoln Assurance Limited (a subsidiary of Lincoln National (UK)
PLC) that it had on 14th December 2004 an existing interest pursuant to s.198 of
the Act in 3,246,988 of the Company's shares representing 4.06% of the issued
share capital of the Company.
