following transactions affecting notifiable interests held by the above Company;

         15.08.02   Sold                   25,000 Ordinary 5p shares 
         22.08.02   Sold                  175,000 Ordinary 5p shares

These transactions leave the Trust's holding at 1,543,393 Ordinary 5p shares,
which according to our records, now represents a holding of 6.815% of this class
of capital.

The Shares will be held in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominees Ltd.
