Direct Line Group announces law firm licence authorisation

Direct Line Insurance Group plc ("Direct Line Group" or the "Group") today announces that the Solicitors Regulation Authority ("SRA") has authorised DLG Legal Services Limited ("DLG Legal Services") as an Alternative Business Structure, enabling it to provide certain legal activities to the public.
DLG Legal Services, a subsidiary of Direct Line Group, intends to offer legal services to the Group's customers in conjunction with Parabis Law LLP and currently expects to launch on 3 March 2014. DLG Legal Services will extend the range of legal services Direct Line Group already offers its customers.
