Appointment of Non-Executive Director
The Board of discoverIE Group plc ("discoverIE" or "the Group"), a leading international designer and manufacturer of customised electronics to industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Celia Baxter as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 June 2023.
Celia brings many years of senior management, executive and board experience in several FTSE 250 and FTSE100 companies. In particular, she has a good understanding of industrial businesses that have grown by acquisition. She spent her executive career in Human Resources, starting with Ford Motor Company and then KPMG, before moving on to Tate & Lyle plc, Enterprise Oil and Hays plc. More recently, at Bunzl plc, she was a member of the Executive Committee responsible for HR and sustainability.
Currently, Celia is a Non-Executive Director & Chair of the Remuneration Committee of DS Smith Plc and Senior Independent Director and Remuneration Committee Chair of Dowlais Group plc. Until April 2023, she was Senior Independent Director and Remuneration Committee Chair of Senior plc. Previously, she was a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of RHI Magnesita NV and a Non-Executive Director of Bekaert NV.
