Director/PDMR Shareholding

Exercise of Share Options

 

discoverIE Group plc (LSE:DSCV, "discoverIE" or the "Company"), a leading international designer and manufacturer of customised electronics to industry, has been notified of the following transactions by PDMRs of the Company.

 

On 28 March 2022 and 25 March 2022, respectively, Nick Jefferies, Group Chief Executive, and Simon Gibbins, Group Finance Director, exercised 230,070 and 101,300 options over ordinary shares of five pence each of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), which vested pursuant to an award granted on 31 March 2016 under the Company's 2008 Long Term Incentive Plan.

 

In order to satisfy the personal tax liabilities arising on exercise, Mr Jefferies and Mr Gibbins sold 108,568 Ordinary Shares each at a price of 775.00 pence, and 47,803 Ordinary Shares each at a price of 807.50 pence, respectively.

 

The balance of the Ordinary Shares held by Mr Jefferies, being 121,502 Ordinary Shares, were immediately transferred to his wife, Susan Jefferies, for nil consideration.  Mr Gibbins continues to hold the balance of his exercised award, being 53,497 Ordinary Shares.

 

Following the transactions outlined above, Mr Jefferies is interested in a total of 1,241,830 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 1.30 per cent. of the Company's share capital and Mr Gibbins is interested in 388,264 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.41 per cent. of the Company's share capital.
