                   Blavod Drinks appointed exclusive importer
          for the Marie Brizard range of alcoholic cordials in the UK

Blavod Drinks, the UK trading subsidiary of Blavod Extreme Spirits PLC (BES)
announces that it has reached agreement in principle with Marie Brizard & Roger
International (MBRI) to become the exclusive importer for the Marie Brizard
range of alcoholic liqueurs from 1st February 2004. The range comprises 11 core
products led by Blue Curacao and Creme de Cassis.

Blavod Drinks will assist the continued growth of the MBRI portfolio in the on
trade primarily through Waverley Vintners, the wholesale division of Scottish
and Newcastle, who is the current importer. At the same time Blavod Drinks will
be responsible for expanding distribution in the off trade. Outline agreement
has already been reached by Blavod Drinks with one of the major UK supermarket
groups to list Marie Brizard and other distribution opportunities are in
discussion.

The MBRI range will both complement the other prestigious brands distributed by
the Company in the UK such as Rothschild (Lafite) wines, Fernet Branca, Mickey
Finns Irish Schnapps, Agwa de Bolivia and Royal Tokaji Hungarian wines and
considerably add to the volumes of wines and spirits handled by the UK
subsidiary of BES.

Alcoholic liqueurs are a growth area of the spirits business as a result of the
increasing consumption of cocktails and therefore complement Blavod Black vodka
extremely well.
