Blavod Extreme Spirits PLC 05 October 2005 Blavod Extreme Spirits plc ('the Company' or 'Blavod') Trading Update Blavod Extreme Spirits plc (BES.L) is issuing this trading update to coincide with the completion of the six month interim period ended 30 September 2005. Equivalent case sales during the period, July to September, increased approximately 137% on a year-on-year basis. In the United Kingdom, total case sales for the period increased over 55%, led by Blavod Black Vodka with increases in excess of 20% in both the 'on' and 'off' trades, with case sales into international markets growing by over 87%. Case sales in the US market were up 284%, driven by Players Extreme having increased 210% year-on-year and Blavod Black Vodka increasing 60% for the period. Jeff Hopmayer, Blavod's CEO said, 'I continue to be extremely encouraged by our trading data, especially as we move into the important back-half selling season, which is traditionally the best trading period for the industry. As I've said in the past, I believe we're making the right investments to grow our brands and create value for our shareholders.'
