Diversified Energy Company PLC (LSE:DEC) announces that on 11 August 2022, 12 August 2022 and 15 August 2022, members of its Board of Directors (the "Board") transacted in ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

On 11 August 2022, Bradley G. Gray, Executive Director of the Board, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President exercised 825,000 vested stock options. To settle the award, the Company will transfer 185,439 ordinary shares of £0.01 ("ordinary Share") each (net of withholding tax) from its  Employee Benefit Trust. Concurrent to the exercise of Stock Options, Mr. Gray elected to sell the newly allotted 185,439 net shares in the open market on 12 August 2022 at a price of 130.15 pence per Ordinary Share. Following the concurrent option exercise and sale of shares, Mr. Gray remains interested in 2,394,782 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.281% of the Company's issued share capital.

On 11 August 2022, Martin Thomas, Non-Executive Vice Chair of the Board acquired 6,000 Ordinary Shares through the open market at an average price of 129.96 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase, Mr. Thomas is now interested in 2,206,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.259% of the Company's issued share capital.

On On 15 August 2022, David Turner, Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board acquired 6,975 Ordinary Shares through the open market at an average price of 135.00 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase, Mr. Turner is now interested in 378,475 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.044% of the Company's issued share capital.
