Reference is made to stock exchange disclosure dated 17.11.09 where
RAK Petroleum PCL disclosed that the company holds more than 5% of
the outstanding shares in DNO.
RAK Petroleum has informed the Board of DNO that they are further
interested in purchasing for cash, at a meaningful premium to the
current market price, substantially all the treasury shares held by
DNO together with any rights of issuance.
The Board appreciates the interest shown in the company.
After the recent sale of DETNOR shares, DNO`s capital position is
satisfactory and the Board has no plans to sell any treasury shares
at this time.
