DNO International ASA - Mandatory Notification ...

On 2  June, 2009,  DNO  International ASA  ("DNO") exercised  a  call
option to purchase 16.000.000 DNO shares  at a price of NOK 2.50  per
share.

DNO has simultaneously completed a sale of 10,000,000 DNO shares at a
price of NOK 8.0 per share.

Following these transactions, DNO  holds 10,000,000 treasury  shares,
and options to purchase an additional 40,000,000 DNO shares.
