Â
Â
Working Interest (WI) Production.
Â
Â
DNO's oil production (WI) for 1st quarter is reported as follows:
Â
Â
(Bopd) January February March Q1 Additional Q1
2008 2008 2008 Produced volume *) Total
2008 2008
Yemen 11,054 10,303 9,746 10,369 0 10,369
Kurdistan/Iraq 6,301 7,457 4,852 6,176 907 7,083
Total 17,355 17,760 14,598 16,545 907 17,452
Â
*) As part of the change in Tawke PSC terms DNO will be entitled an
additional volume of 82,558 barrels produced from start of production
in June 2007 until 12th March 2008. This additional volume is booked
in 1st quarter 2008 (82,558 / 91 days = 907 bopd).
Â
Â
The gross production from the Tawke field in the 1st quarter was
6,872 bopd. This is slightly above the plan and up 50 % compared to
the previous quarter.
Â
DNO's share of the gross production from Tawke in the 1st quarter is
95 % from 1st January until 12th March, and 60 % thereafter. This
arrangement will remain in effect until the gross revenues from Tawke
reach USD 484 million, or USD 291 million net to DNO. Thereafter the
standard PSC terms will apply.
Â
Tawke production was lower in March due season holidays. This
combined with the change of PSC terms resulted in lower production to
DNO from the Tawke field in March.
