COMPLETION OF STRATEGIC GERMAN JOINT VENTURE AND ACQUISITION OF JOEY'S PIZZA
Further to the announcement made on 15 December 2015, Domino's Pizza Group plc (the "Company" or the "Group") is pleased to announce that all regulatory and other customary approvals have been satisfied and that the strategic joint venture between the Company and Domino's Pizza Enterprises in respect of the Group's German operations, and acquisition of Joey's Pizza, the leading pizza delivery business in Germany, have now completed.
The Company now owns a one-third equity stake in the largest pizza delivery business in Germany, as well as the Domino's franchises in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Switzerland.
Commenting on the completion of the transaction, David Wild, CEO of Domino's Pizza Group, said:
