                Initial Purchase of Shares in Buyback Programme





Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc announces that the Company purchased 100,000 of its
ordinary shares on 9 June 2004, through Numis Securities at a price of 200p per
share.  These shares will be cancelled and will reduce the number of shares in
issue to 53,971,561. As foreshadowed in the annual report and following the
Tender Offer made to shareholders in 2003 this demonstrates the Company's
commitment to ensure the benefits of our business model, and the cash flow
generated continues to flow through to our shareholders.
