Drax advises that Charles Berry, a non-executive director of the Company, has 
been appointed as a non-executive director of Impax Environmental Markets plc 
to take effect from 1 October 2007.

Mr Berry is also currently a director of Eaga plc and Securities Trust of 
Scotland plc.

There are no other matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of 
the Listing Rules.
