David Lindsell, a non-executive director of Drax, purchased 7,500 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 362.24 pence per share on 17 December 2010.

The total number of ordinary shares in which David Lindsell has an interest (and registered in his name) following this acquisition is 7,500.

The notification is in accordance with DTR 3.1.4 R(1)(a) and DTR 3.1.4 R(1)(b) and the dealing was in respect of ordinary shares of 11 ¹⁶/₂₉ pence each in the share capital of the Company of which there were 364,859,988 shares in issue at the time of the dealing.
