TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS AND SHARE CAPITAL
In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules provision 5.6.1R, Drax
advises the market of the following:
That, as at 30 November 2007, the Company's issued share capital consisted of
340,045,804 ordinary shares of 11 16/29 each with voting rights (the 'Voting
Rights Figure').
As at 30 November 2007 and at the time of this announcement, no shares are held
in treasury by the Company.
The reduction in the issued share capital and Voting Rights Figure is as a
direct result of dealings through the introduction of the share buy back
programme which was announced on 6 September 2007.
The Voting Rights Figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
voting rights interest, or a change to that interest, in the Company under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
