In accordance with UKLA Listing Rule 15.6.8 and on behalf of the investment trusts under its management, Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited announces the following portfolio disclosures as at 31 January 2010, in other UK listed investment companies (including investment trusts) which themselves do not have a stated investment policy to invest no more than 15% of their gross assets in other UK listed investment companies (including investment trusts):

Note 1

At the close of business on 31 January 2010 the Company had portfolio protection in the form of a put option.  The option protects 3.1% of the portfolio at a strike level of 4600 for the FTSE 100 Index.  The option runs until 19 March 2010.  At 31 January 2010 the value of the option represented 0.02% of the Company's Gross Assets.
