Notification of Transactions of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons

The Company was informed today that Prof Malcolm Young, Chief Executive has transferred today 10,310,241 ordinary shares to his wife for routine tax planning purposes. Prof Young's resultant direct holding remains unchanged at 20,620,482 shares representing 14.93% of the total voting rights of the Company.

Prof Young also has an indirect holding of a further 428,512 shares due to interests that he holds in Novotech Investments Ltd and Novotech Syndicate LLP. There has been no change to this interest.
