Strong load factors, which were broadly in line with last year, were supported
by targeted promotional activity and low lead-in fares. We will continue to
offer low fares throughout the summer to ensure great deals for our customers
and high load factors. For the second half we anticipate total revenue per seat
to decline in the region of 5% to 10% versus last year.
In the second half we will see increased momentum in cost reductions with unit
costs, excluding fuel, down in excess of 5% year on year. This anticipated
decrease in unit costs reflects continued improvements in the cost of aircraft
ownership, careful management of airport related costs and a reduction in
overheads. For the year to September 2007 our guidance remains unchanged, and we
expect to increase pre-tax profits by 40% to 50% compared with the previous
year.
easyJet's network expansion continued in May with the launch of eight new routes
including new daily services between Paris and Athens, and Edinburgh and Milan,
as well as six new routes developing easyJet's German and UK bases, bringing low
fares to more travellers throughout Europe.

1.Represents the number of earned seats flown. Earned seats include seats that
are flown whether or not the passenger turns up because easyJet is a no-refund
airline, and once a flight has departed a no-show customer is generally not
entitled to change flights or seek a refund. Earned seats also include seats
provided for promotional purposes and to staff for business travel.
2. Represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of seats
available for passengers. No weighting of the load factor is carried out to
recognise the effect of varying flight (or 'stage') lengths.
3. Represents statutory revenue (unaudited).
