Proposed purchase of 52 Airbus Aircraft, Amendment of the Airbus Contract and
Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting
The Board of easyJet announced on 14 November 2006 that easyJet had exercised
its right to acquire a further 52 A319 aircraft under existing options contained
in an agreement with Airbus G.I.E ('Airbus') dated 30 December 2002 (the 'Airbus
Contract') and had also agreed certain amendments to the Airbus Contract subject
to shareholder approval. Shareholder approval is being sought at an
Extraordinary General Meeting of easyJet to be held at 10.00 a.m. on 14 December
2006 at easyLand, London Luton Airport, Bedfordshire LU2 9LS.
A circular containing further information on the exercise of options and the
amendments to the Airbus Contract was posted to shareholders yesterday.
Copies of the circular have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will
shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document
