                              Total Voting Rights



In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we
would like to notify the market of the following:



Thomson Intermedia's capital consists of 31,310,258 ordinary shares of 25p each
('Ordinary Shares') with voting rights.  No Ordinary Shares are held in
treasury.



Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Thomson Intermedia is
31,310,258.



The above figure (31,310,258 Ordinary Shares) may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Thomson
Intermedia under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
