                    Receives further marketing authorisation

Lawrence plc is pleased to announce that its Eco Animal Health (Eco) subsidiary
has received a further marketing authorisation for Ecomectin, its veterinary
anti-parasitic endectocide.

The Irish Medicines Board has approved Ecomectin Horse Paste, which is used
mainly for deworming. We are using the accelerated application process under the
European Mutual Recognition Procedure (MRP) to apply for further marketing
authorisations for Horse Paste throughout the European Union. The preferential
consideration embodied in the MRP should shorten the time to market in those
countries.
