First day of dealings

Ecofin Global Utilities and Infrastructure Trust plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the commencement of dealings in its ordinary shares at 8.00 am today on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and admission to the premium segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority ("Admission").

As at close of business on 13 September 2016, the Company's net asset value ("NAV") was £124.5 million or 135.5 pence per share. The Company intends to publish its opening NAV and opening portfolio, including portfolio weightings, as soon as is practicable, and no later than 30 September 2016, and thereafter will publish weekly and month-end NAVs.

The total number of ordinary shares in the Company in issue immediately following Admission is 91,872,247, each with equal voting rights. This total voting rights figure can be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority.

The ordinary shares will trade under the TIDM: EGL.
