Director's Share Purchase

Anglo Pacific Group plc ('the Company') announces that Mr Peter Boycott, Chairman, bought on 17th December 2008 40,000 shares in the Company at a price of 82.5p per share. Following this notification his revised beneficial interest in the Company is now 3,210,291 shares representing approximately 3.02% of the issued ordinary share capital.
