Appointment of Director
Anglo Pacific Group plc ('the Company') announces that, effective 5th July 2006,
it has appointed Mr Matthew Tack as Finance Director of the Company. Mr Tack is
a Chartered Accountant (Australia) who joined the Company as Group Financial
Controller in July 2004 and has been Company Secretary since September 2004. He
is a welcome and useful addition to the Board. Following this appointment, Mr
Brian Wides becomes Chief Executive and Mr Peter Boycott remains executive
Chairman.
Mr Tack owns 13,280 shares representing 0.01% of the Company. There is no
further information required to be disclosed with regard to the aforementioned
pursuant to Chapter 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
