The Board of Anglo Pacific Group PLC, ('APG'), is pleased to announce its return
to the Dividend List with an interim dividend for the year ending 31 December
2002 of 1.1p net per ordinary share. This will be paid to shareholders
registered on the share register at the close of business on 6 December 2002.
The shares will be quoted ex dividend in London on 4 December 2002 and in
Australia on 2 December 2002 and the dividend will be paid on 14 January 2003.
Under the terms of the Capital Reconstruction approved by the High Court in July
2002, only profits arising after 30 June 2002 are available for distribution.
The dividend of £956,593 is therefore payable out of the profits of APG of
£1.066 million (as extracted from the unaudited Interim Accounts) for the three
months ended 30 September 2002.
