The following amendment has been made to the Company announcement "Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") and persons closely associated with them" released earlier today on 27 November 2019 under RNS number: 7656U.
Mr Attlee's beneficial and non-beneficial holdings in the Company are 1,051,059 ordinary shares, which will represent approximately 0.174 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.

The board of Empiric Student Property plc (ticker: ESP) (the "Board"), the owner and operator of premium student accommodation across the UK, announces that on 26 November 2019, Timothy Attlee, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, exercised a nil-cost option award granted on 29 September 2016 under the rules of the Empiric Student Property plc 2014 Long Term Incentive Plan over 152,385 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company.
Issue of Equity and Total Voting Rights
As a result of the Exercise, the Company has issued and allotted a total of 152,385 Ordinary Shares and application will be made for the Ordinary Shares to be listed on the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange on 02 December 2019 ("Admission").
The total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company in issue immediately following Admission will be 603,160,958 each with equal voting rights Accordingly, Mr Attlee's beneficial and non-beneficial holdings in the Company are 1,051,059 ordinary shares, which will represent approximately 0.174 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.
