                        Appointment of Finance Director

Expro International Group PLC, the oilfield services company, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Michael James Speakman to the Board as group Finance
Director, with effect from the Spring of 2004. Colin Ainger will continue to
have interim responsibility for the finance function until then, whereupon he
will revert to his primary responsibility as Corporate Development Director.

Mike, aged 39, joins Expro from Smiths Group PLC, where he is currently Finance
Director of Smiths Medical. Since 1992, Mike has worked in various financial
roles for either Smiths Group PLC or TI Group (prior to its merger with Smiths
Industries in 1999). He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants of England and has a BSc in Engineering.

Commenting on the appointment, Graeme Coutts, Chief Executive said: "We are
absolutely delighted to have concluded our search with the appointment of Mike
to this key position. We have secured an individual with the qualities and
energy essential to help drive Expro forward as we enter a new and exciting era
for the business."

There is no information, which would require disclosure under paragraphs 6.F.2

Listing Authority.
