10-year B2B platform licensing deal signed with Betfred
GVC Holdings PLC (LSE:GVC), a leading e-gaming operator in both B2C and B2B markets, is pleased to announce that it has signed terms to licence its online sportsbook and gaming platform ("agreement" or "contract") to Betfred, one of the UK's best known betting brands.
The 10-year transformational B2B agreement involves the full migration of Betfred's online business, including all its sportsbook and gaming offering, to the GVC platform on an exclusive basis. Following a thorough due diligence process, Betfred has chosen GVC to support and drive its online growth in the future. The proprietary GVC platform offers a one-stop-shop online offering, focused on a superior sports betting player journey. The platform offers a single account, allowing players to access a variety of content choices around sports and gaming, across multiple channels. The GVC backend data driven tools will allow Betfred to segment its players and personalize its offering accordingly.
The Betfred Group is one of the UK's leading sportsbook operators, with a growing retail business of c1,400 shops. Its decision to partner with GVC reflects the strength of the Group's proprietary technology offering. GVC continues to see opportunities to drive revenues from its proprietary technology and will continue to utilise its market leading offering.
