Gaming VC to Launch Online Poker
Gaming VC Holdings S.A. (the 'Company' or 'Gaming VC') announces it has signed
an agreement with Boss Media AB in which Boss Media will provide a Poker
platform for Casino Club, Gaming VC's online casino, www.casinoclub.com.
This agreement will enable the Company to launch Poker gaming in July 2005.
Gaming VC plans to offer Poker in various European countries and will localise
its Poker offering to cater to players' culture, language and currency, based on
their region. In keeping with its historical strategy to not support U.S. bets,
the Company's Poker business will not accept U.S. customers.
The agreement extends the successful four year relationship the Company has with
Boss Media, in which Boss Media supplies the Company with a gaming software
platform, as well as operation, maintenance and payment processing services for
Casino Club.
Steve Barlow, CEO of Gaming VC, said: 'The launch of Poker will enable Gaming VC
to further extend its gaming product offerings within Europe. Our online gaming
business began with Roulette and has expanded to include a suite of appealing
casino games. By working with Boss Media to launch a Poker offering, we will
attract an even broader range of customers and deliver best-of-breed gaming in a
regulatory compliant manner.'
Peter Bertilsson, President and CEO of Boss Media, said: 'Online Poker gaming is
generating more and more attention worldwide, and gaming companies that want to
provide the best offerings recognize its value. Gaming VC has already
established a significant number of repeat users through its Roulette, Slot and
other casino games. By joining our fast growing network of Poker sites, the
Company positions itself well for further expansion.'
There will be a conference call at 12 noon UK time today. Please call
Gavin Anderson & Company for registration details.
