The Company was notified on 10 May 2005 by The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. that
they have an interest in 5,162,112 of the Company's ordinary 5p shares
('Ordinary Shares'), representing 4.01 per cent. of the issued Ordinary Share
capital.

In addition, the Company was notified on 10 May 2005 by The Capital Group
Companies, Inc. on behalf of its affiliates, that they have an interest in
6,853,000 of the Company's Ordinary Shares representing 5.33 per cent. of the
issued Ordinary Share capital.
