Romanian Well Spud

Regal is pleased to announce the spudding of appraisal well RBN-S1 in the Barlad Concession in Romania, in which the Company holds a 100% working interest.  The RBN-S1 well is being drilled to appraise the gas discovery made in the RBN-4 well announced on 13 December 2007. The well is being drilled into a Sarmatian formation gas target and is planned to reach a target depth of 850 metres.  It is envisaged that the RBN-S1 well will take approximately 14 days to drill at a dry hole cost of approximately US$2.3 million.
