Change of Company Name to Esken Limited and Notice of General Meeting

Stobart Group, the aviation and energy infrastructure group, is pleased to announce its intention to change its name to Esken Limited ("Esken"). This follows the announcement on 21 May 2020 that Stobart Group sold the Eddie Stobart and Stobart trademarks to Eddie Stobart Logistics for £10 million. As a result of this transaction Stobart Group agreed it would change its name before the end of February 2021.Stobart Group's operating divisions may continue to use the brand to May 2023 and London Southend Airport will not change its name.

In order to obtain the required shareholder approval for this change, a General Meeting ("GM") will be held at 10.00am on Wednesday 3 February 2021 at the Company's London office: 15 Stratford Place, London W1C 1BE.

Due to Covid-19, the GM will be functional in format to comply with the Company's Articles of Incorporation, relevant legal requirements and to enable shareholders to vote on the important customary annual business. Shareholders will not be able to attend in person but can attend electronically, details for which are set out in the Notice of GM. Shareholders are encouraged to exercise their right to vote and, accordingly, it is strongly recommended that shareholders vote by way of proxy.

The Company has posted the Notice of the GM in hard copy form to those shareholders who have elected to receive correspondence by post. Other shareholders have been notified by letter or email (for those shareholders who have notified the Company they wish to receive electronic communications) of the availability of the Notice of GM at the following link www.stobartgroup.co.uk/investors.

In compliance with 9.6.1 of the Listing Rules, copies of the above documents have been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will be available for inspection at

http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/nsm .

If approved, the change of name will be effective once Guernsey Companies House has issued a certificate of incorporation on change of name (the "Certificate"). It is expected that the Certificate will be issued on the same date as the General Meeting, being 3 February 2021.  The Company's stock market ticker will become ESKN from 8:00 a.m. on the day following the General Meeting (4 February 2021) and its ISIN will remain unchanged. 

The change of name will not affect any rights of shareholders and existing share certificates should be retained as they will remain valid and no new share certificates will be issued. The Company's website will change to www.esken.com on 4 February 2021. The name Esken is derived from an old English word meaning to 'ascend, climb and rise.'
