23 June 2006
For immediate release 23 June 2006
EUROPEAN MOTOR HOLDINGS plc ("EMH")
At the Annual General Meeting of European Motor Holdings plc being held at
midday today, Richard Palmer, Chief Executive, will make the following
statement:
"The Group's profits for the financial year to date are in line with its
internal expectations and significantly ahead of last year. This improvement is
principally due to the new businesses we acquired last year, but also due to the
performance of our manufacturer partners who, collectively in the calendar year
to date, continue to outperform the market as a whole.
We expect another satisfactory year and look forward to the remainder of the
period with confidence."
