NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTORS' SHARE TRANSACTIONS



The company has today been informed of the following transaction in the
company's ordinary shares of 40p by directors:

•  •        Richard Palmer has today purchased 10,000 shares at a price of
            131p each

•  •        Ann Wilson has today purchased 5,500 shares at a price of 131p
            each.

As a result of the above transactions, those directors' shareholdings are now:

•  •        Richard Palmer 473,843 shares (0.91% of the total issued share
            capital)

•  •        Ann Wilson 342,606 shares (0.65% of the total issued share
            capital).
