                                    DISPOSAL

EMH has disposed of the business and certain assets of its DAF and LDV trucks
business, Taunton Trucks, to Wessex GS Limited on 30 June 2004. The total
consideration for this transaction was £646,000 and this has resulted in a net
profit on disposal of £170,000. The business operated from leasehold premises
which have been assigned to the purchaser.

The disposal of its last remaining truck dealership is a further example of
EMH's stated policy of disposing of its non core franchises and concentrating on
its three motor retail partners: BMW Group, Premier Automotive Group and the
Volkswagen Group.
