NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES



European Motor Holdings plc was advised today that the notifiable interest of
UBS Asset Management Limited and Phillips & Drew Life Limited is now 5,814,310
ordinary shares in the company, representing 10.81% of the total issued share
capital. Included within this holding is the notifiable interest of Phillips &
Drew Life Limited of 3,707,030 ordinary shares in the company, representing
6.89% of the total issued share capital.
