NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES


European Motor Holdings plc was advised today that the concert party
comprising J O Hambro Capital Management PLC, North Atlantic Smaller Companies
Investment Trust Limited and Oryx International Growth Fund Limited (acting in
concert) have reduced their combined notifiable interest to 6,600,000 ordinary
shares in the company, representing 12.27% of the total issued share capital
(previously 7,850,000 shares, representing 14.59%). The company was also
advised that Oryx International Growth Fund Limited is no longer party to the
agreement, having sold all of its shareholding.
