NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES



European Motor Holdings plc ("the Company") has been advised today of the
following holdings in its ordinary shares:

•        Acorn Income Fund Limited continues to hold 2,634,030 shares,
representing 5.04% of the total issued share capital

•        Eaglet Investment Trust plc has sold its holding of 2,400,000 shares

•        Unicorn Asset Management Limited, as investment manager to the above
companies and to Unicorn AIM VCT plc, is interested in 3,115,830 shares,
representing 5.96% of the total issued share capital.  Unicorn Asset Management
Limited is not the beneficial owner of the shares.



•        Following the purchase of 2,160,000 shares, Standard Life Investments
Limited has increased its material interest to 3,799,708, representing 7.26% of
the total issued share capital.
