Director/PDMR Shareholding

Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
today from Mr A F C Darwall, a director of the Company, that he purchased 50,000
Ordinary shares at 176.5p per share on 25th April 2006 and a further 50,000
Ordinary shares at 177p yesterday.

Following the above purchases he now has an interest in a total of 2,827,013
Ordinary shares representing 3.5% of the total voting rights in the Company of
which 781,320 shares are held on behalf of or in the name of his wife and
children.
