Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
yesterday from Mr A F C Darwall, a director of the Company, that he purchased
50,000 Ordinary shares today at 178p per share.
Following the above purchase he now has an interest in a total of 3,740,013
Ordinary shares representing 4.61% of the total voting rights in the Company of
which 804,320 shares are held on behalf of or in the name of his wife and
children.
