Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
from Mr J D A Wallinger, a director of the Company, that he purchased 105,000
Ordinary shares in the Company on 31st September 2007 at a price of 224p per
share. Following this transaction Mr Wallinger holds a total of 150,000
Ordinary shares in the capital of the Company representing 0.18% of the total
shares in issue.
