Director/PDMR Shareholding

Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
today from Mr A F C Darwall, a director of the Company, that he purchased 25,000
Ordinary shares at 184.25p per share on 5th March 2007 and 65,000 Ordinary
shares at 190p today.

Following the above purchase he now has an interest in a total of 3,567,013
Ordinary shares representing 4.42% of the total voting rights in the Company of
which 781,320 shares are held on behalf of or in the name of his wife and
children.
